The procedure that allows foreigners to enter Belarus without visas has been adjusted. On 14 September Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed decree No.345 to amend presidential decree No.8 on introducing a visa-free procedure for foreign citizens to enter and leave Belarus, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
Decree No.345 will come into force one month after the official publication, that is on 17 October 2021.

Denis Rabchuk, a student of Brest gymnasium No. 1, won a gold medal at the 17th International Geography Olympiad (iGeo 2021). This year, the competition was held from 10 to 16 August in an online format, BelTA learned from Belarusian State University. This is the second ever gold medal of Belarusian schoolchildren at the International Geography Olympiad. Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko is taking part in a meeting of the CIS Heads of State Council. The event is held as a video conference under Belarus’ chairmanship, BelTA has learned.
The agenda of the meeting includes 11 issues. The CIS leaders are expected to exchange opinions on cooperation within the CIS and take a decision on the presidency in the CIS in 2022. Kazakhstan is expected to preside in the CIS next year.
